It's time for our second Amburana Finished Whiskey.   We were enjoying the beautiful cinnamon notes being added to the High Rye Bourbon, so we decided to get a second Amburana Barrel and fill it with some of our favorite Rye Whiskey.   


This 4+ year old rye sat in this new Amburana barrel for 24 days and pulled some really nice cinnamon notes.   The base rye has a great herbal spice notes to it and creates a great balance with this Brazilian Oak.  

Amburana Finished Rye Whiskey

  • This 4+ year old Monongahela Rye aged for just over 3 weeks in a Brazilian Amburana barrel imparting delicious cinnamon notes to an herbal and bodied rye whiskey.
