Winston Churchill was known to enjoy some whiskey with his breakfast. Here is our take on a Churchill's Breakfast Cocktail. Definitely a favorite at the distillery!
Ingredients:
1-1/2 oz. LPS Rye Whiskey
1 oz. LPS Bourbon Cream
1/2 oz. Maple Syrup
2 oz. Cold Brew Coffee
Shake vigorously on ice until the maple syrup is dissolved.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Heat a cinnamon stick to release the oils and garnish.
Or, we flamed wood chips and cinnamon sticks, placed the coupe glass over them like a tent, and when the glass was coated nicely in cinnamon smoke, we turned it over and strained the cocktail into it. We garnished it with the torched cinnamon stick.
