Like most people, we found ourselves surrounded by royal wedding news. And while Meghan looked fabulous, what drew our attention most was the elderflower lemon cake. Using these flavors as inspiration, we created an intriguingly delicious cocktail.
Ingredients
2 oz. Bourbon
1 oz. Elderflower liqueur
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Demerara Sugar Cube
Slice of Lemon
Muddle bitters, sugar cube, and slice of lemon until sugar is dissolved. Adding a dash of warm water can help with this. Add bourbon and elderflower liqueur, stirring until wall-blended. Pour into rocks glass over ice and garnish with lemon peel.
