Mingorita

Updated: May 14, 2021

Cinco de Mayo is almost here and that can only mean one thing... Margaritas. Well, in our case, "Mingo"ritas. Named after the Mingo Creek Society, of course.

What's the secret to a good margarita? Two things: good whiskey and fresh squeezed limes. Sometimes the simplest things in life are the best.

Ingredients

2 oz. Bassett Town

2 oz. Lime Juice

1 oz. Combier Orange Liquour

1 oz. Simple Syrup

1/2 dropper of Black Lime Bitters

Shake all ingredients on ice and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with a lime twist or a slice of lime.

Simple Syrup

1 part water

1 part sugar

Boil until sugar dissolves and let cool before using.
