This is our version of the classic cocktail made with Cognac.
Sidecar
2 oz. Liberty Pole Spirits Bourbon
2 oz. orange sours mix
2 drops Orange Angostura Bitters
Rim a chilled coupe glass with powdered sugar.
Shake all ingredients on ice.
Strain into prepared glass.
Add ice.
Garnish with orange peel.
Orange Sours Mix
1/2 cup simple syrup
1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau
Note that simple syrup is 1 cup of sugar dissolved in 1 cup of hot water.
